Three recruits in the class of 2021 — one committed to BYU, one committed to Utah and one from Orem High — had their star ratings increased by 247 Sports today.

  • Ricky Parks, a 5-foot-10, 192-pound running back from Gaither High School in Tampa, Florida, was upgraded to a four-star running back. Parks is now the highest-ranked running back ever recruited by Utah.
  • Raider Damuni, a 6-foot-2, 190-pound athlete from Timpview High School, was upgraded to a four-star recruit by 247 Sports. According to the service, he is the 37th highest recruit ever to commit to the Cougars.
  • Kingsley Suamataia, a 6-foot-5, 280-pound offensive tackle from Orem High School who committed to Oregon, earned a five-star rating, making him the sixth-best at his position in the nation, according to 247 Sports.
