WATCH: Man breaks into, steals money from Brooklyn mac and cheese restaurant

NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Police are searching for a man who shattered the window of a Brooklyn mac and cheese restaurant before climbing inside during a burglary early Monday.

According to officilals, at 5:35 a.m. on January 25, the unidentified man used an unknown object to break the front window of Mac Shack, a macaroni and cheese restaurant located at 901 Fulton Street in Clinton Hill.

The suspect then forced the window open, climbed inside, and removed cash and a lockbox containing change with a combined value of $245, officials said.

He then fled on foot west on Fulton Street and then north on Vanderbilt Avenue, authorities said.
