‘Hopping mad!’ Prince Charles’ fury as Prince Andrew’s royal ‘return’ plea shot down

Prince Charles was "hopping mad" after he was questioned whether Prince Andrew could ever return to the Royal Family after the Duke of York reportedly believed he could make a "comeback", a royal editor explained.

Royal editor and commentator Roya Nikkhah appeared on True Royalty's Royal Beat to discuss the latest on Prince Andrew.

She said: “Everyone in the Royal Family has been of the view he couldn’t come back, except Prince Andrew.

"[He] did a litmus test with us last year when a source close to him said ‘he thinks he has a future role’.

"I went to the Prince of Wales with that and suffice to say the Prince of Wales was hopping mad."

Kate’s ‘secret formula’ for success copied from another senior royal - new analysis

Kate, Duchess of Cambridge's "secret formula" for success has been copied from another senior member of the Royal Family, according to experts.

The Duchess has been mentored by Sophie Countess of Wessex the wife of Prince Edward.

Speaking to Express.co.uk previously, body language expert Judi James said: "Sophie’s formula does appear to have been copied by Kate too as ‒ so far ‒ she has managed to tread the very fine line of creating interest that is positive but not unmanageable.

"Many of the poses of the two women together show Sophie face-checking Kate with quite strong bouts of watchful-looking eye contact to suggest she’s taking a semi-maternal approach.

“She also [has] raised eyebrows and what’s called a ‘pinging’ smile that implies she wants to ensure Kate is enjoying herself."

Charles' plans for scaled back monarchy criticised

Prince Charles' plans for a scaled-back monarchy have been criticised by a royal commentator.

The Prince is reportedly calling for a scaled-back version of the monarchy so that UK taxpayers feel like they are getting value for money.

However, Victoria Arbiter criticised these plans in the 2020 Channel 5 documentary 'William & Kate: Too Good To Be True'.

She said:  “How do four people oversee the Commonwealth?

“How do four people do all the ceremonial occasions, all the official engagements, oversee all the charities that they do?”

Zara Tindall is an 'enigma'

Zara Tindall is mother to three children, Mia, 3, Lena, 3 and Lucas, 10 months.

But what are her parenting skills like?

Angela Karanja, an Adolescent Psychologist and parenting expert told Express.co.uk: "Zara Tindall is an enigma.

“On one hand she’s very public as her own self-made athlete and personality, and at the same time very able to keep her private life private.

“Zara is known to ferociously guard information about her children, only letting the public know the bare minimum and only what is relevant.

“I think she’s of the view that ‘skills should shine for you, not private information or given titles’.

“I suppose this must be an element she learnt from her own mother when Princess Anne didn’t give them royal titles."

Prince Andrew snapped at Meatloaf during tense exhchange

Prince Andrew, reportedly once snapped at Meatloaf during a tense exchange.

The Bat Out Of Hell singer died today, aged 74.

However, back in 1987,  Prince Andrew's then wife, Sarah Ferguson, allegedly "paid attention" to the singer,  who said the Prince became jealous.

In a 2003 interview with The Guardian, he said: "It was great fun. I had a great time.

"Fergie wasn't exactly flirting with me, but she was paying attention to me, and I think Andrew got a little ‒ I could be wrong, I'm just reading into this ‒ I think he got a little jealous."

Meatloaf went on to state that Andrew tried to push him into the water.

He said: "He tried to push me in the water. He tried to push me in the moat.

"So I turned around and I grabbed him and he goes, 'You can't touch me. I'm royal.'

"I said, 'well you try to push me in the moat, Jack, I don't give a s*** who you are, you're goin' in the moat."

Royal maid claims Andrew laughed after she was bitten by a dog

A Royal maid has reported that Prince Andrew laughed after his dog bit her, leaving her leg "purple" with wounds.

Charlotte Briggs said the fact that the Prince was "unbothered" after the dog bit her back in the nineties is a reflection of his character.

She said: "My leg was bleeding and my tights ripped."

 "He wasn't bothered.

"Even when I was limping and my leg was purple he never apologised.

"It's those little things that tell a lot about people and their character."

Briton's say Harry 'not entitled' to police protection

Prince Harry should not have police protection in the UK, Express.co.uk readers have claimed.

A new poll of Express.co.uk readers shows that more than half of readers believe the Prince should only have private security.

Express.co.uk reader MargoHR stressed: “As Harry and Meghan decided to relinquish all royal duties and leave the UK to make tens of millions from Netflix and other American commercial activities, they should have to pay for their own security, 100 percent.

“It is wholly inappropriate to suggest the British taxpayer should make any payment whatsoever.”

Here Goes added: “Harry and Meghan did not just ‘step away’ from their royal responsibilities and duties; they abandoned them to live a ‘private’ celebrity lifestyle in exile.

“In effect they abdicated their jobs and therefore are not entitled to their previous considerable advantages and perks which went with their former jobs.”

Prince Harry vindicated as former prime ministers receive lifelong police protection

Prince Harry's argument that he should be able to pay for police protection has been vindicated by the protection given to police officers.

The Duke is currently seeking a judicial review into the Home Office's decision that he cannot personally pay for security for himself and his family when they visit the UK.

The protection of current and former Prime Ministers is the responsibility of the Metropolitan Police's Protection Command, who routinely carry firearms while on duty.

It is reported that £16000 of taxpayers money is spent every day on protecting Tony Blair.

However, unlike politicians, members of the Royal Family are born with an inherent safety risk.

Claims Harry and Meghan set to sell £11m mansion dismissed

Claims that Harry and Meghan are set to sell their £11m California mansion have been dismissed.

A section of the couple's local newspaper Montecito Journal titled "Rumours and Actual News" has claimed that the rumour had been started by a 'hopeful' estate agent.

The paper read: "Apparently, this one was started by a hopeful realtor listing a property in Birnam, who wanted to gin up interest in it, but had no idea that worldwide press would jump on anything that mentions these two."

Harry and Meghan moved to the house in 2020.
