Cracks Begin to Emerge in Brooklyn Nets Paradise As James Harden Openly Takes Blame For Chicago Bulls Bashing

An NBA star, James Harden remains a cornerstone and a key player for the Brooklyn Nets. Harden is currently playing his 12th season in the NBA. The 32-year old is a part of a formidable trio along with Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving.

Harden recently made news when he blamed himself for the Nets’ lack in form.

He spoke to the media in a post game conference following the Nets’ game against the Chicago Bulls. The Nets lost in a tough match against them. Harden took the blame for his franchise’s loss while simultaneously absolving his teammates of any.

Harden said, “Blame this one on me. You know I had a lot of opportunities at the rim that I didn’t convert. That could’ve settled this game down. You know, I think we played a pretty good game, a pretty good solid four quarter game. I made some tough shots at the end but you know turnovers we cut down. The things that we talked about before the game, we pretty much did a really good job with that.”

The Nets’ loss to the Bulls is their seventh loss of the 2021-22 NBA season. The team and Harden currently enjoy a 16-7 record for the season compared to the Bulls’ 16-8 record. He spent 40 minutes on the court against the Bulls while scoring only 14 points.

Harden began his NBA career in 2009 with the Oklahoma City Thunder. The OKC Thunder selected him as the third overall pick in the 2009 NBA draft. He had been named as the 2018 NBA MVP when he played for the Houston Rockets.

In 2021, James Harden joined the Nets.

James Harden and the Nets fail to tame the Chicago Bulls

The Brooklyn Nets suffered an embarrassing defeat against the Chicago Bulls. James Harden had a forgettable performance, as he scored only 14 points while spending 40 minutes on the court. A final score of 111-107 at the Barclays Center witnessed the Bulls end the Nets’ two game winning streak.

Kevin Durant scored 28 points while LaMarcus Aldridge had 20 points for the Nets. Zach LaVine with 31 points, led the score among the Bulls, and DeMar DeRozan added 29 points. The Nets will face the Dallas Mavericks next in an away game in a bid to turn their fortunes around.
