Personal trainer Heidi Aragon confronts ‘creepy old guy’ at gym on TikTok

A personal trainer in the US has been praised for standing up to a “creepy” guy at the gym who was staring at her while she exercised.

Heidi Aragon, who posts to social media under the handle @fit_with_heidi, shared the clip on her TikTok, captioned: “Don’t sit there and tell me you’re not doing something when I have proof.”

In the video, she put her phone on a bench to film herself while doing squats, before stopping when she spotted the man walking over.

“This creepy old guy at the gym kept coming over and staring at me,” she explained.

“So I told my husband, and he came over and worked out next to me.”

Her husband’s presence, though, did little to deter the other man, who continued to stare at Heidi.

“I thought he got the picture. I attempted to do my set. Then I got fed up and went over and addressed him,” she added.

Heidi can be heard telling the man to “stop this” after walking out of the shot.

“I told him if he’s gonna work out in this corner, he needed to stop staring and making me uncomfortable — his response was, ‘I’m just looking around,’” she said.

“I then told him I record my workouts and I have him on film. He shut up real quick.”

Since posting the clip, Heidi’s been praised for sticking up for herself and calling the man on his behavior.

“That’s good you confronted him and have it on video,” another added.
