Red Sox outfielder Kyle Schwarber donates pizza to Waltham police, fire departments

Red Sox outfielder Kyle Schwarber donates pizza to Waltham police, fire departments
started off on a barstool sports podcast. Saugus native Jared Carrabba's posting on twitter about Kyle from waltham living out his dream of playing for his hometown. Red Sox waltham, I guess that's where I'm from. According to people from boston, Schwarber is really from Middletown Ohio, but waltham has embraced the socks for his basement as one of their own making t shirts with his name on it and cheering him on through the postseason. There's a lot of walter and pride makes you feel happy that you're from all of them. And tonight, Schwarber returned the favor, ordering more than two dozen pizzas from shoppers cafe on moody street were not really built to throw out 25 pieces at once, but we actually, we have to make sure it happened and sending them to waltham six fire stations and police department. The fact that we more or less adopted him and he adopted us back has been fantastic. Just happy to have him and happy that he went out of his way to do something for us. It was cool and hopefully he keeps hitting home runs and waltham firefighters union paying it forward, sending pizzas to Schwarber's actual hometown in Ohio, sharing the love for the sox slugger. We never thought it would drill like this. Like we never thought I'd turn into pizzas from here. Pizza is going to Ohio, you know, so it's, it's been a great run now. The chef at shoppers cafe is actually a waltham city council and he says he's going to present a resolution on monday to make Schwarber an honorary resident of waltham were in WAltham.
