2021 Prospects Challenge Gamethread #2: New Jersey Devils vs. Boston Bruins

Those taking part in the New Jersey Devils rookie camp will finish the 2021 Prospect Challenge today. In their second and final game, the Devils will play the Boston Bruins.

Good afternoon. Today is the second of the two-game 2021 Prospect Challenge series for the New Jersey Devils. This is essentially pre-preseason hockey. The veterans report next week, which is when training camp will properly begin. The real preseason will begin at the end of the month (and with that, real previews and real recaps). Just enjoy the second hockey game played by people in Devils jerseys since May.

The Time: 1:00 PM ET

The Broadcast: This is an online-only tourney. The Devils’ official website will stream this.

The Matchup: The New Jersey Devils vs. the Boston Bruins (SBN Blog: Stanley Cup of Chowder)

The Goal: No injuries and play well. Training camp and preseason games await so it is crucial for all involved to be able to participate in those events.

The Song of the Day: Sticking with technical heavy music, Animals as Leaders is always a band on top of that progressive metal sound. Their single “Wave of Babies” somehow did not make it to an album. I do not know why.

The Rules: As usual, keep it clean, respect your fellow Devils fan, and keep it relevant to the game. Go Devils.
