Jedrick Wills Jr. active, to start at LT for Browns against Texans

CLEVELAND, Ohio (92.3 The Fan) – A week after being carted to the locker room, left tackle Jedrick Wills Jr. is active and will start against the Texans Sunday.

Wills did not practice all week due to the ankle injury he suffered in the first half at Kansas City.

Also as expected, safety Grant Delpit is active and will make his Browns debut.

Odell Beckham Jr. and backup offensive tackle Chris Hubbard were ruled out on Friday. Safety Richard LeCounte III, linebacker Tony Fields II, and defensive tackle Tommy Togiai are also inactive.

Donovan Peoples-Jones is expected to start for Beckham and Malcolm Smith starts at MIKE for Anthony Walker, who was placed on injured reserve Friday with a hamstring injury.

Backup quarterback Case Keenum will serve as this week’s game captain.
