BTS Fans Go Wild Over Jimin's Exposed Forehead at Muster Sowoozoo: 'I'm Not Okay'

BTS fans have been sent into a fresh meltdown over member Jimin's exposed forehead.

The mega-group, formed of Jimin, Jungkook, Jin, J-Hope, RM, V and Suga, caused a social media frenzy after a string of performances as part of Muster Sowoozoo—their eighth anniversary livestream.

Most notably, fans couldn't resist hailing "forehead supremacy" after Jimin swapped his bangs for a slick, coiffed hairdo, which allowed him to show off more of his face than ever before.

The new aesthetic became so widely discussed by fans, known as the Army, that the phrase "Jimin Forehead" started trending on Twitter.

A flurry of memes, which showed various popular TV characters passing out, were among the reel of tweets which were shared online.

@jiminssi_ifya announced: "The amount of jimin forehead on display, protect me."

"GOD JIMIN FOREHEAD THIS MAN IS ETHEREAL," @allurerm posted.

"Jimin forehead is killing meeee," user @expnsivemenbts declared.

@Simran29479179 wrote: "I AM NOT OKAY WITH JIMIN FOREHEAD."

@needJIMINpls posted: "Jimin forehead supremacy YOU ALL BELIEVE RIGHT."

"THE JIMIN FOREHEAD PRAYERS WERE ANSWERED," @framesandtulips said.

"GOD JIMIN FOREHEAD THIS MAN IS ETHEREAL," @allurerm tweeted.

The frenzy comes a day after Jimin caused a stir when he appeared on-stage for the first day of the event with a new facial accessory—a lip ring.

The livestream took place across two days, June 13 and 14. The first day featured a slate of the band's most popular songs to date, whilst the second also included some of their foreign language songs.

Since they stepped on to the scene, the group have taken the world by storm, earning their first ever Grammy nomination, ambassadorship deal with Louis Vuitton and a slate of Guinness World Records.

Muster Sowoozoo comes amid speculation that a new BTS album could be released as early as July.

The rumors first began circulating after a South Korean news outlet, SPO TV News, claimed the "Butter" hitmakers will make their comeback with a new studio album on July 9.

BTS' label, Big Hit Music, gave nothing away as they told Newsen they will only "reveal our artists' plans after they are finalized," according to a translation by Soompi.

Newsweek previously contacted representatives of BTS for comment but did not get a response.

2021 has already been a mammoth year for the group as they broke five world records with their second-ever English only track "Butter." Three weeks on from its May 21 release, the video has pulled in an astonishing 347 million views.

Among their reel of accolades for the track, BTS took the title for the most viewers on a music video in 24 hours, with 108.2 million viewers.
