During First Take Appearance, Wallace Gave Lillard the MVP Nod

During an appearance on ESPN, Rasheed Wallace gave Trail Blazers star Damian Lillard a slight edge in his current MVP prediction.

Trail Blazers legend Rasheed Wallace stopped in for an appearance on ESPN’s First Take this week and delivered an MVP prediction that should sit well with fans of his former team. In the middle of his seven-minute appearance, Wallace explained that Lillard is his current pick for MVP inside a tight race.

Through 52 outings this season, Lillard is averaging 28.7 points, 4.2 rebounds and 7.7 assists per game.

Along with his MVP pick, Wallace also touched on several topics tied to the elite contending teams in the NBA. Near the end, Wallace mused about how he would perform in the modern NBA.
