The most recent story coming out of Japan is sure to turn some heads, or perhaps, teach loved ones a lesson. An extremely enviable set of Yu-Gi-Oh! cards have hit the Japan’s Yahoo! Auctions, but this time the collectible cards are not released by the owner himself.

The auction is set up by a man’s devoted wife, who has recently discovered he was cheating on her. The listing includes a total of 26 multi-pack boxes of Yu-Gi-Oh! trading cards, with 25 of them appearing to be unopened. The set includes a series of early launches, including packs from Magic Ruler, Pharoah’s Servant, Curse of Anubis, Mythological Age, Thousand Eyes Bible and Spell of Mask booster sets.

The seller posted a message accompanying the collection, “This is my first listing on Yahoo! Auctions. As an act of revenge against my husband for cheating on me, I have decided to sell his collection. The items are unopened, so I’d be happy if I can get a good price for these…The boxes have been on a shelf with a cover over them, so they aren’t even dusty. I don’t have much familiarity with collectible card games, but to my untrained eyes the items have no damage or tearing, so please accept their condition as-is. Thank you.”

Since the opening bid of just approximately $1 USD, there have been 350 total bids placed. The price has been driven up to approximately $62,800 USD as of the writing.

Those interested can check out at the auction in action online at Yahoo! Auctions.
