Fulton County to offer residents $100 gift cards to get vaccinated starting next week

FULTON COUNTY, Ga. — Starting next week, Fulton County is offering $100 gift cards for anyone getting their first or second dose of the COVID-19 vaccine.

Fulton County is giving out the gift cards on Oct. 17 and 30, and Nov. 3 and 6 at the South Fulton Service Center in College Park; the Fulton County Board of Health in Alpharetta; and the Emma Darnell Aviation Museum & Conference Center in Atlanta.

The county is only offering the Pfizer vaccine.

“Fulton County is offering these incentives to show its commitment to the overall health of all citizens,” says Fulton County Commission Chairman Robb Pitts. “We hope that our residents will be encouraged to see beyond the financial impetus and see how their community benefits from vaccination.”

The county is also teaming up with Atlanta Public Schools for two walk-up vaccine events on Oct. 30 and Nov. 20 at Carver and Douglass high schools.

APS families can get a $50 gift card plus an additional $50 per APS student per dose.

Only 100 gift cards will be handed out per location.
