LEWISTON — New Mainers Public Health Initiative, in partnership with the Power Health Tour and organized youth, is scheduled to hold a free Community Family Giveback Day from noon to 4 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 23, at Kennedy Park, 120 Park St.

This family event will feature giveaways, health and wellness information, empowerment information, screenings, COVID-19 vaccinations, flu shots, kids’ activities, book giveaways, fresh fruits and vegetables, community resources, a live disc jockey, and a first-come, first-served pizza party.

Parking is free. The event will follow all Maine COVID-19 guidelines.
